Our legal bases for processing
Daylight Resources Ltd. operates as a Recruitment Agency and Recruitment Business, and processes personally identifiable data under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/679) on the bases of consent, contract, legal obligation, and legitimate interest. Our legitimate interest is to find employment or contract engagements for candidates with our clients.
What information do we collect?
When registering on our site, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, and details about your career and your job search preferences. You may also provide us with this information indirectly, when you submit a job application via a job board carrying our advertisement, or when you make your CV available to recruiters via a job board where we maintain an account.
We only collect the basic data we need to deliver you with the most tailored recruitment services as well as maintain and develop our relationship. This data includes your contact details and the contact details of people within your organization such as name, position, working location, phone number, email. We may also collect other relevant information that you choose to tell us in order to help us in providing you with tailored services.
What do we use your information for?
Information provided by you may be used for the following processes;
- Contacting you in relation to a specific job application that you have made to us
- To contact you about a job or contract opportunity that matches your stated requirements and we believe will be of interest to you
- Arranging interviews and providing or collecting interview feedback
- Discussing job offers, references, notice arrangements, and job on-boarding arrangements.
- Providing post-placement services, including managing and administering contracts
We may collect further information from you during the above processes and also seek your permission to pass your details to prospective employers and engagers, who will also become data controllers of your data under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/679). We will not pass your details to any company without your express permission and you will always know which companies have been sent your details.
Following a successful appointment or engagement the basis on which we hold your data changes, and we will hold your details as required under legislation as part of our legal or contractual requirements.

Do we use ‘cookies’?

We usually keep your information for a maximum period of 24 months, this being the period we deem we are most likely to be able to assist you with your employment or business aims. Where we have successfully placed you in a placement or contract assignment, we will keep your details for as long as we are required to under law or contract.
How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you submit your personal information, eg we are hosted on a secure server and data is held behind a firewall. All sensitive information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
Right to Data Access
We do our best to ensure that all information held relating to you is kept up-to-date and complete. You have the right to request a copy of any information we hold on you at any time, and to have that information corrected if it is inaccurate. You also have the “right to be forgotten”, where you can request that your personal data is deleted from our records.
